Extracts from four of the interviews have been selected for translation into English (those with Lev Netto, Marksena Nikiforova, Dmitrii Streletskii and Antonina Znamenskaia).

These are some of the richest interviews in the oral history project, each one raising complex issues of personal identity and moral choice, which should make them suitable for teaching purposes.
